Travis Barbarick
Colorado Workers’ Compensation & Personal Injury Attorney

Committed to fighting the good fight on behalf of injured workers and Coloradans

Travis was born and raised in Raymore, Missouri, just south of Kansas City. He attended undergraduate college at the University of Central Missouri, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in political science. He was also the captain of the wrestling team, a 4-year letter winner, a 2x qualifier for the National Tournament, and 3x Academic All-American.

After college, Travis became the director of the Ray-Pec Youth Wrestling Club in Kansas City. He loved working with kids, but had to leave the program upon returning to school to obtain his law degree. He graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in May 2014. While in school, he worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge George W. Draper III at the Missouri Supreme Court, then spent time working at the Missouri State Public Defender office in Fulton, Missouri.

Travis moved to Denver in 2014 and worked as a law clerk for a local law firm during the bar passage and licensing journey. After he was licensed, he went to work for Lockton Companies as a PECAP Team Member (Private Equity and Corporate Acquisitions Practice), primarily working on mergers and acquisitions.

However, it wasn’t long before Travis felt like he needed a change of pace as he missed helping people and building relationships with clients. In 2015, he joined a local Denver injury law firm where he specialized in workers’ compensation representation for almost 5 years. Now, he’s thrilled to be a part of The Babcock Law Firm team as an Attorney at Law practicing workers’ compensation and personal injury. Outside of the office, Travis enjoys an active Colorado lifestyle with his wife and sons by golfing, snowboarding, hiking, exercising and recreating in the great outdoors. He and his family are big Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fans.

Committed to Representing Coloradans, Not Corporations

"I originally wanted to become a public defender because I wanted to help people who didn’t have many options or places to turn. When I moved to Colorado, I got into workers’ compensation claimant’s work to fight the good fight on behalf of injured workers. Helping injured workers get back to a normal life is why I love doing what I do."
