Additionally, Stephanie Tucker received the Legislative Award in recognition of her vital contribution to the passage of Colorado House Bill 1300—a groundbreaking law that gives injured workers the right to select their own treating physician. This award highlights her continued commitment to helping workers gain access to crucial medical benefits after work injuries in Colorado.

WILG, short for the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group®, is a national nonprofit organization made up of lawyers and advocates who represent injured workers across the United States.
Founded in 1995, WILG’s mission is to protect and strengthen the rights of workers who suffer on-the-job injuries or occupational illnesses. The group works through education, advocacy, and legislation to improve workers’ compensation laws and ensure fair treatment for injured employees.
