With the winter not close to over, a serious recall for new Arctic Cat snowmobiles comes down the pike.
Just yesterday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a recall for over 16,500 Arctic Cat snowmobiles. Reports of cracking lower suspension arms, which can cause you to lose control and perhaps be fatally injured, prompted the recall.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported thus far.
Affected snowmobiles include the 2010 Arctic Cat Z1, TZ1, F, Bearcat, M and CF models. You can find the model name on the side of your snowmobile or in the owner’s manual.
These snowmobiles were sold between June 2009 and this January for between $6800 and $15,000.
If you own one of these affected models, discontinue use immediately and contact your local Arctic Cat Dealer about a free repair (…or call (800) 279-6851).
And if you have a problem getting your snowmobile or other defective product fixed or worse, you’re injured because of a defective product, contact Denver personal injury attorneys at the Babcock Law Firm today.
